Welcome everyone! I’m beyond excited to make catering at this retreat.

My name is Mara and I’m a chef and food designer and Nutritionist. For as long as I can remember, food has been a central part of my life, not just as a profession but as a passion and a way of nurturing both body and soul.

Let me take you on a brief journey of how I arrived here today. Many years ago, I found myself at a crossroads, juggling the demands of a busy career and being a mother of all my beautiful children, and personal health challenges. It was during this time that I had an epiphany: food could be my medicine, my art, and my joy. I remember a specific moment when I prepared a simple but nourishing meal after a particularly stressful day. That experience was transformative. I felt an immediate connection between what I ate and how I felt, both physically and emotionally.

Inspired by this revelation, I dove deep into the world of nutrition, experimenting with different ingredients and techniques. My kitchen became a laboratory of flavors and health. I learned how to create meals that were not only delicious but also packed with nutrients. This journey led me to become a food designer, where I could merge creativity with health to craft meals that are not only visually stunning but also beneficial for our well-being.

Alongside my culinary adventures, I developed a strong commitment to self-care. Regular exercise, mindfulness practices, and balanced eating became my anchors.
